Food has always been a struggle with my cats. I spent over a year breaking them out of an intense kibble addiction from the shelter and finding 30-50% of their wet food uneaten in the bowl was still common. I had them on a rotation of different high-protein/moderate-fat wet foods, all of which they seemed to like, but nothing could compete with kibble. Until now. I bought this raw food as an experiment, thinking that it would take just as much fighting as wet food, but that we could eventually transition. Boy was I surprised when my picky cat, who refuses to try anything new without it being shoved in her mouth, went crazy for it! For the first time ever, non-dry food was finished as soon as it was put out. When they see me take out the bag, they actually start begging for it (another behavior that has never happened before). I started mixing it 50/50 with the canned food in the house and there's no more wet food waste either! And the best part - it's actually *good* for them too. I really thought that food was going to be a struggle for my cats entire lives. I've spent a lot of time being angry at the fact that they were only fed kibble before I had them (they never even had wet food as kittens). Finding this food and seeing the reaction from them made me feel like there's finally light at the end of the tunnel. I'm so glad we tried out this food, and I'm excited order more of both this and the other flavors!
